Our committment to our communities
URW for Jobs and URW Community Day are two excellent examples of our commitment to giving back. Through these programmes employees volunteer during their working hours each year to support community activities, from helping local job seekers to find employment, to renovating public buildings and clearing litter. It is great to see everyone coming together to have real positive impact.

Focus on our initiatives in 2020
The Covid-19 crisis brought about a lot of instability globally, and despite the trying situation, our employees rallied to support our local businesses, non-profit organisations and communities everywhere we were present. We dedicated our resources, assets and connections to serving our communities in the most efficient and helpful ways possible. From setting up Covid-19 testing hubs in our centres, to providing goods or raising money to support associations and public institutions in urgent need of funding or equipment, to providing educational support to young people unable to attend school or access the necessary equipment required to continue their studies online…
We are very proud of our people for their commitment and resilience in contributing to making our communities better!

Focus on our initiatives in 2019
Our URW Community Day in 2019 was a great success with over 2,000 employees around the world volunteering more than 12,000 working hours to support non-profit organisations in our local areas.
Many of our employees give their time and expertise to support the URW for Jobs programme, providing valuable coaching and support to local job seekers to help them find employment. Through URW for Jobs, our teams have helped more than 1,500 people to secure a job or placement, and provided over 47,800 training hours.
We also celebrate our long-standing local partnerships on both sides of the Atlantic in various fields from Veterans’ initiatives to raising awareness on career opportunities in Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) among local female school students.
